The recent restoration of the painting by Jean Cousin, Eva Prima Pandora, constituting one of the major works of the French Renaissance, The Louvre offers you to dive into the work of this major painter.

Around this great nude, considered as the first nude woman in the French painting history, works as diverse as sculptures, books prints, an embroidery, a piece of weave or a tapestry are unveiled. The whole collection testifies the versatility of this artist also known for the key role he played in the revival of stained glass window making and tapestry in the 16th century.

Alongside these works, do not miss the selection of works by his son, Jean Cousin the Young, a worthy heir to the inventor of style that was his father.
