For the first time the results of two years of extensive excavations in the area of the medieval town hall and the new Metro station, the U5 will now be shown.

From the various floors and floor fills thousands of finds have been recovered, which can a new picture of the genesis and economic power in Berlin in the Middle Ages and modern times arise. But the excavation itself and the future presentation of the archaeological remains of the medieval town hall of the new window in the archaeological underground station on the Red Town Hall will be discussed. Our educationally and professionally trained staff to accompany your school classes during a tour of the exhibition.
