After hosting the Robert Hubert boards from the Valencia Museum, the Petit Palais continues to invite major regional museums in order to communicate their masterpieces with those of the Museum of Fine Arts of the City of Paris.

This year's guest is the largest museum of Fine Arts in Nantes closed for renovation until 2016. His collection of great wealth provides a comprehensive overview of Western painting from the thirteenth to the twenty-first century. Thanks to the generosity of the Nantes Museum, the new decor Change focuses on the masters of French nineteenth century.

Seven major paintings and are inscribed in a new way in the course of the permanent collections of the Petit Palais: Ingres, Tissot, Corot, Vernet, Gérôme, Delaroche and next to a portrait by Polke.
