Andrea and Magda are a duo of French-Italian photographers. They live and work in the Middle East since 2008, mainly in Palestine and Egypt. They explore the impact of globalization on the territories and the economy.

Sinai has suffered a lot from the impact of the Egyptian revolution especially all the hotel villages along the coast of the Red Sea. "Tahrir" is synonymous with economic disaster.

If Egypt is betting heavily on the tourism sector in the Sinai, almost all of the local economy is based on the tourism industry.

The terrorist attacks in the 2000s, the Intifada of Palestine, the Egyptian revolution and the emergence of newly affiliated groups of Dash in north Sinai affect the confidence of Westerner, central pillar of industry machinery.

The result is visible in their photographs showing its carcasses ghosts, abandoned or never completed, covering the entire coastline from Taba to Sharm el Sheikh.
