In the Bermondsey Area you can't miss this huge orange building designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta. The Fashion & Textile Museum or FTM is a place that wants to present its collections composed of fashion, jewels and design but also tries to inspire visitor and designers to be the future of creatives. The Museum provide a large understanding on contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery in London.

Founded by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, it's now under the direction of Newham College who presents under changing exhibitions the world of fashion. The museum is a hub of learning, ideas and networking for the fashion and jewellery industry.

The collection highlights present the changing face of contemporary fashion from 1947 to the present day. There are garments from designers including Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Biba, Mary Quant and Vivienne Westwood.
