The Maison Européenne de la Photographie, located in the historic heart of Paris, is a major center for contemporary photographic art which opened in February 1996.

The vast mansion displays on three floors some of the best exhibitions about photography in Paris with often different themes, topics and atmospheres at the same time.

Through all those exhibitions, the MEP is designed to make the three fundamental photographic media (exhibition prints, the printed page, and film) easily accessible to all. It also offers numerous commented visits, conferences and films cycles in relation with the exhibitions.
