Located in a former 18th century Jesuit monastery in the Old town of Zagreb, the gallery is composed by great exhibition rooms that displays several exhibitions across the year.
The gallery opened in 1982, named after Croatian painter Juraj Julije Klović a 16th century artist, considered to be one of the greatest manuscript illuminators of the Italian Renaissance.
Since its opening, the gallery hosted international exhibitions such as engravings by Albrecht Dürer, works by painter Oton Gliha and sculptor Dušan Džamonja or exhibition of ancient Chinese art.
